Come upstairs at Durango's favorite fast-casual restaurant for delicious margaritas, draft beer, and craft cocktails. Enjoy our cozy lounge or gorgeous rooftop patio.

Zia was really good! We got 2 baby burritos and a big burrito. It was all good and much cheaper than chipotle. It was a bit busy, we went at 5:30 on a thursday.

Stopped in here upon the recommendation of a friend of a friend, and we enjoyed our meals. The special that day was carnitas, so my wife tried it in a bowl, while I had two carnitas tacos. Very tasty, fresh ingredients, and the tortilla chips we ordered on the side were really good. There's a decent amount of seating in the light and bright interior. I appreciated that the menu explained the pretty high cost of the fish products (such as the fish tacos) due to supply chain issues, and that they plan to bring the price down again once that changes. Very nice touch. The carnitas special, though, was a really good deal. I would definitely stop in here again the next time I'm in Durango.

This is a must-do for anyone who hasn't tried this spot in Durango! We make a point to stop anytime we're in the area. There are several "build your own" options as well as some other items, like tamales and Baja tacos. I usually get a rice or salad bowl and load it with black beans, chicken, lettuce, cheese, and pico. I tried their salsa verde this time, which was really flavorful, but also quite spicy! I didn't mind, but it's definitely one of their hotter salsas. Some of my other favorite things to get here, though not pictured, are their quesadillas and burritos. The service here is always quick, so don't be deterred if the line seems long. They move through everyone quickly and there's usually plenty of seating, especially at this location. They also seem to have gotten a distillery on the upstairs level, though we didn't check that out. There's also a ton of parking compared to the other Zia's location, so we had no issues finding a space. Definitely don't miss this local Durango flavor!

Just the best. Seriously a staple of Durango and just so good. Used to eat there multiple times a week, down to one time a week now, but always a "must have". The newer north location is cool and the upstairs has a good vibe to it. Good service, great food, and in all that time I've eaten there I can't think of a single criticism... except that I wish they had breakfast burritos, and I am sad they don't offer that to Durango

Thank you for your comment! Several years ago we had dreams of opening for breakast - and we're still kind of sad about it! Unfortunately staffing in the world post-2020 has not allowed us to further explore the idea!

Zia's is a must for anyone who hasn't been here. It's a great place for burritos, tacos, or bowls! Their meat is always amazing especially their grilled marinated chicken! Their chips are also great and a must try item. Can't wait to be back here! :)

Zia is a must when visiting Durango! I always look forward to eating here during ski season. The Baja Style fish tacos are my go to order. 2 tacos usually aren't enough to fill me up, so I get 4. The mango salsa adds some bold flavor. Whenever you order fish, you have to wait about 10 minutes.
The location is clean, handicap accesible, and the staff are efficient and friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Grace V.Durango, CO1218Jul 19, 2023
Finally! Great, authentic Mexican food! Nothing in the Four corners like it. Ordered the Tuesday special-chile relleno. Tricky dish and they got it right. Clean, fast service, good prices and great selection.

Pretty average in my book. Pricing is reasonable, however food lacked seasoning and flavor. Even the items that I was told were spicy, definitely lacked the heat. I definitely a little disappointed with the flavors of our meal from reading the other reviews.

Sorry to hear that! It's usually all about how you chose to top your meal. We'd love to host you again and make some recommendations for you!

The quality of the food at both locations has dropped significantly. We are really disappointed and rarely stop anymore.
