Mountain Waters Rafting

Mountain waters rafting was lots of fun on our trip to Durango. This was two hours of excitement floating through rapids from what I'd consider mild to medium level excitement. My six year old loved their time on the water and continues to bring up *that time on the raft* every so often. I don't think there's a more quintessential Durango experience than rafting down the animus river and this should definitely be on your list!

We had such an an AMAZING time with our rafting guide Lilian!!
She was so positive and energetic and we would 10/10 go back with our same guide. The whole time we felt so taken care of and she even scheduled a fish to jump on cue when we were floating down the river. She is also a mermaid and was magical.

Andy Snow was a fantastic rafting guide for one of the most exciting and beautiful experiences our family has ever had! He was also an excellent conversationalist who additionally provided superb restaurant recommendations and other activities to fill the gaps in our Durango vacation itinerary... We will be booking with this company again next spring to travel down the Upper Salt River in Arizona... we hope to see Andy again!

The tour guide was great we went on the Mesa verde tour and we got to see the park to the fullest extent in half a day snacks and drinks were provided, if there were 6 stars I would select

Excellent 1/2 day visit to Mesa Verde. Our guide, Neil was extremely knowledgeable, very very personable, and kept us engaged and entertained the entire excursion. This is a must see for anyone interested in Native American history and Mountain Waters Rafting provides a perfectly wonderful experience.

We had a fun rafting trip with Lilah G. as our guide. She did a great job keeping us safe, while giving us some fun splashes and swimming options. Light-hearted and informative, we learned a lot while enjoying the beautiful Animas river and Durango scenery.

We had a great time rafting with these guys. They had a well put together family friendly rafting trip, great for first timers. My wife had a freak out moment because she was nervous before we started, but once we got going she felt confident and able to do it thanks to our guide. Our guide Shiloh did a great job of making the trip fun especially for our two teenage boys. They loved his fun ideas. He had some little game ideas that involved them falling in the water (at a safe part of the river). The teenaged loved little silly things like racing the other boats. He even stopped to get a large log out of the river before it became a danger to other people on the river. We really had a great time.
